Maintenance

To ensure your warranty and the life of your unit, regular maintenance if recommended by the manufacturers specifically at least once a year. Commercial appliances may require up to six services per year depending on appliance and running conditions.

Atlas Webster has a fully functional service division known as AtWeb Care that provides back-up and support for its commercial and domestic customers.

Why a Service Contract?

1. AtWeb Care Tune Up

AtWeb Care cleans, adjusts and inspects the equipment on a scheduled basis for a fixed fee and provides:

• Customer has guaranteed response in 24 hours*;
• Annual service fee covers the labour required for one basic maintenance call;
• All replacement parts have a 12 month guarantee;
• Labour guarantee of 3 months for replacement parts.

2. AtWeb Care Protect (Heating or Cooling)

AtWeb Care provides you with:

• A twelve month service agreement with one annual inspection;
• Top up gas level (up to 2kg) for airconditioners;
• Customer has guaranteed response in 24 hours*;
• Planned maintenance and tune-up to equipment covering minor repairs to the value of
  $50 (which includes one of the following: Thermocouple or transformer or Belts or
  Electrical wiring or relay; but does not include zoning);
• One additional service call at no charge (labour not included);
Includes maintenance parts and material such as filters, oils and grease

Optional extras include:

• Service on Humidifiers and Electronic Air Cleaners at extra cost.

Dual Equipment Service Agreement for Add-on Airconditioning

Protection plans are available for AtWeb Care Protect customers that combine heating and cooling equipment at an additional Cost.

3. AtWeb Care Total Protect (Heating Only)

This Total Protect is the premium service product available form Atweb Care.
It includes:

• Twelve months comprehensive service and repairs agreement;
• Planned maintenance and tune-up to equipment covering minor and major repair
  (eg. Burners, fan motors)
• Customer has guaranteed response in 24 hours*;
• One additional service call at no charge (labour not included);
Planned maintenance and tune-up to equipment covering minor repairs to the
   value of $50 (which includes one of the following: Thermocouple or transformer or
   Belts or Electrical wiring or relay; but does not include zoning);

Commercial maintenance contracts are all done on an individual basis after a site inspection, according to your specifications and equipment.

The Following are a few handy hints that you yourself maybe able to do:

1. Follow instructions on access door or owners manual.
2. Make sure power is on, plugs are pushed in and batteries in control if applicable are OK.
3. Check pilot flame - if applicable.
4. Does the unit come with a reset button, and if no, try turning power off for 20 to 30
    seconds, which may reset heater or A/C unit.
5. Filter grills are clean - recommended method is thoroughly washing with garden hose.
6. Make sure a large percentage of vents are open.
7. Make sure nothing is restricting air flow back to the unit through the return air grill.
8. Nothing, which produces heat, is effecting thermostat.
9. Don't allow plants to over grow around appliance.
10.Make sure thermostat is properly set.
11.Make sure gas meter is turned on.
