What is a Split System?

These types of systems have 2 parts, designed for easier installation and for quieter running.

PART 1 - The indoor fan coil unit usually found wall mounted, ceiling mounted or floor console type. This is the unit that you see, control and produces the desired temperature.

PART 2 - The condenser unit usually found outside on a concrete base, anywhere from 6 meters to 30 meters away from the indoor unit. This is the unit that tends to make the most noise; therefore you have the flexibility to install it in an area least occupied.
They are both connected by refrigeration pipes, fully insulated and are sized and installed to manufacturers requirements.

Split Systems also can be ducted in the ceiling or under the floor of the premises.

This requires ceiling or floor outlets in the areas that you require your comfort. They can also be used in domestic and commercial applications.
